Sadisha ton helps Royal to mammoth score

Sadisha Rajapakse cracked a swashbuckling knock of 166 in only 133 balls which included 25 boundaries and a six for Royal College to make a mammoth score of 409 for 6 declared against Ananda College on day one of the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Ananda Mawatha.

Rajapakse was involved in two valuable partnerships, first of 191 runs for the second wicket with Sineth Jayawardena, who made a run-a-ball knock of 95 runs. The other was for 101 runs for the third wicket with Dasis Manchanayake, who made 67.

Ananda in their turn ended the day on 103 for 1.
