Schools Junior boys and girls boxing in Ratnapura from July 29 to August 2

SLSBA expects about 350 school athletes from 60 schools and sports clubs to participate in this tournament

The Sri Lanka Schools Boys and Girls and Junior Boys and Girls Boxing championships conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Boxing Association (SLSBA) is to be held from July 29 to August 2 at the Siwali School Boxing Gymnasium in Ratnapura.   

SLSBA expects about 350 school athletes from 60 schools and sports clubs to participate in this tournament. The relevant tournament will be restarted after three years and the Boxing Association of Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka School Boxing Association have taken the initiative for this.   

The tournament will be conducted following the new rules of the International Boxing Association. In this tournament, the school boys and girls will vie for the Dian Gomes Challenge trophy. The junior boys and girls boxing tournament will be held for the Herbert Embuldeniya and Neiva Ibuldeniya Challenge Trophies.
