Schools Rugby league 2022 Wesley out to end on a winning note

Wesley College will be all out to end their round one fixtures on a winning note when they confront Dharmaraja College at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium today.

Kick off is scheduled at 4 p.m.

Dharmaraja have gone through a bad season, losing three games to Isipathana College, Vidyartha College and St. Peter’s College, with the match against Science College ending in a draw.

They are led by Co-Captains, Saumya Wijesiri and Thenuka Wickremasinghe.

Despite the investments made on the team, they are yet to deliver a giant killing performance so far this season, and this could be their last chance to do so in front of their home crowd.

Meanwhile Wesley are led by Tharusha Jayaweera and beat Vidyartha in their opening encounter and later on ended on the winning side against Science. They lost out to Isipathana even though they managed to end on equal terms against St. Peter’s.
