The postponed Inter-Schools Under-19 League Rugby Tournament second-round would resume next month with a card of three matches to be worked off in Colombo and in Kandy.

All second-round matches were put off following the Easter Sunday terror attacks but yesterday the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association received the green light from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Defence to restart the tournament.

The key fixture will be the annual Bradby Shield encounter between traditional rivals Royal College and Trinity College with the first-leg scheduled for June 1 at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy.

Meanwhile, the second-leg of the Bradby Shield will be played on June 15 at the Royal College Sports Complex in Reid Avenue.

The Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo will host two matches on the opening day of the tournament commencing at 2.00 p.m.

S. Thomas’ College will be up against former champions Isipathana College in the opening match of the day followed by the clash between St. Peter’s College and Science College commencing at 4.00 p.m.

The first-week round of matches would conclude with Wesley College taking on St. Joseph’s College on June 2 at the Sugathadasa Stadium.

The second-round of the tournament would conclude on June 30 with the fixture between Wesley and Trinity at the Sugathadasa Stadium.
