Senior Hockey Nationals from October 9-12 at Shalika Grounds

The Sri Lanka Hockey Federation (SLHF) will work-off the Senior National Hockey tournament 2023 for men and women from October 9-12 at Shalika ground, Narahenpita.  
The last date to accept applications for this tournament is October 3. It should be forwarded to the SLHF Competition Secretary.  

SLHF President G. Vishvanathan said that 17 teams are expected for the men’s tournament and 16 teams for the women’s tournament.  
Meanwhile, SLHF has also made arrangements to hold the Junior Hockey Nationals (men and women) tournament before the end of October.  
The dates and venue of the tournament will be decided at the next SLHF executive committee meeting.  

All the national level hockey tournaments that were postponed because of corona in 2022 have been completed by now, the SLHF President says.
