The second round of SpeedStar 2023 was recently concluded at the SpeedBay @ Port City Colombo, providing an entertaining and thrilling karting experience for spectators, family members, and friends of the drivers.

The first round of the SpeedStar Championship 2023 took place last April, organised by SpeedBay @ Port City Colombo in collaboration with the Ceylon Motor Sports Club.
Once again, three winners were chosen in each category for this round. The SpeedBay @ Port City Colombo karting track, owned and maintained by David Pieris City Developments (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of David Pieris Racing & Leisure (Private) Limited, which is the motorsports arm of the David Pieris Group, was filled with family and friends of the racers, as usual.

The determined and impressive racing skills of the drivers created an unforgettable night and captivated the attention of all spectators. The championship consisted of two main categories: professional and amateur, with three weight classes, as well as a women’s event. The third and final round of SpeedStar 2023 is scheduled to take place shortly.
