Sports Ministry approves Sri Lanka women’s T20 team for Commonwealth Games

The Sports Ministry has granted approval for the T20 women’s cricket team selected to take part in the Commonwealth Games 2022 from July 30 to August 7 in Birmingham. The 15-member team accompanied by six officials will see Sri Lanka taking on England on July 30, New Zealand on August 2 and South Africa on August (4). The captain of the Sri Lanka team is Chamari Athapaththu.

The Sri Lanka women’s cricket team is as follows:
