Sri Lanka Rugby conducted Inter-University (government) Women’s seven-a-side rugby saw Sri Jayawardenapura girls becoming champions. The event took place at the Thurstan College ground participated eight teams locking horns.

In the final Sri Jayawardenapura beat Kothalawela Defence Unit ‘A’ 5-0. Meanwhile Colombo University ended as the third placed team.
