The 11-member Sri Lanka Junior Athletic Team left for Kuwait yesterday to participate in the 4th Asian Youth Athletic Championships, which will be held from October 13 to 16 in Kuwait City.

Over 400 athletes from 30 countries are set to participate in this meet, which will be conducted by the Asian Athletics Association.

The Sri Lankan contingent includes six Boys, two Girls and three officials. Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA) Technical Director Palitha Jayathilaka will accompany the contingent as Team Manager.
