Sri Lanka Under 19 tour of Pakistan Pakistan U-19 level L/O series 1-1

Pakistan Under 19 cricketers leveled the five match Limited Over series 1-1 with the touring Sri Lanka Under 19 team when they scored a 58 run win at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi yesterday.  
Sri Lanka Under 19 won the first match by 51 runs and in the second match yesterday the Lankans were outplayed having dismissed the tourists for 195 in reply to Pakistan’s 254.  
Batting first young Pakistanis were aided by two good knocks by Shamil Hussain (53) and Arafat Minhas (95) while Sri Lankan medium pacies Guruka Sanketh (3/38) and Ravishan Perera (3/49) bowled best..  
Chasing 255 for victory the Lankans were dismissed for 195 in 43.4 overs. Pulindu Perera (36), Vihas Thewmika (32 n.o.) and Ravishan De Silva (32) made a valiant effort for Sri Lanka going past the host’s total while the other batters found it difficult to score off U. Shan (3/43) and N. Ahmed (2 for 30). (LR)
