Sri Lanka Volleyball Team off to Pakistan

The Sri Lanka National Men’s Volleyball Team left the island yesterday to participate in the CAVA Nations League Volleyball Championship, which will be held at the Liaqat Gymnasium, PSB Sports Complex in Islamabad, Pakistan from May 11 to 17.  
Veteran volleyball player Deepthi Romesh will lead the team at this event. Sri Lanka will meet Kyrgyzstan on May 11 in their opening encounter followed by the match against Pakistan the following day.  
Six countries namely, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Sri Lanka, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan will participate in this tournament.
