Sri Lanka Women - West Indies Women T20 Chamari Athapaththu to lead Sri Lanka in three-match series

Chamari Athapaththu will lead the Sri Lanka Women’s team in the three-match T20 series against the visiting West Indies Women side scheduled to get underway today at Sooriyawewa Stadium.
The 16-member team was selected by the SLC selection committee and approved by Harin Fernando, the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs. The team includes some of the players who were members of the three-match ODI series against the West Indies, in which the host side made a clean sweep by winning all the matches.
The second and third matches are scheduled to be played on June 26 and 28 at the same venue, starting at 10 a.m.
The 16-member squad:
Chamari Athapaththu (Captain), Vishmi Gunaratne, Harshitha Samarawickrama, Hasini Perera, Nilakshi de Silva, Kavisha Dilhari, Oshadi Ranasinghe, Inoshi Fernando, Sugandika Kumari, Ama Kanchana, Rashmika Sewwandi, Imesha Dulani, Shashini Gimhani, Kawya Kavindi, Sachini Nisansala, and Kaushini Nuthyangana.
