Uncapped Kamil Mishara, who is in Sri Lanka’s squad for the upcoming series against Zimbabwe, is suspected to be Covid-19 positive.

“It is suspected but still not confirmed. He underwent another PCR test on Wednesday and we await its report,” a Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) source confirmed.
The fact, however, is that the 20-year-old opening batter did not go to the ground on the first training session conducted at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
Sixteen out of 18 players attended the full training session for three hours (2 to 5 pm) on Wednesday.

Dushmantha Chameera has joined the team bio-bubble but didn’t attend the training.

Sri Lanka’s training today, the second day for the hosts, is also scheduled in the afternoon, whereas the visiting Zimbabwe team will have its first day of training in the morning.
