Sri Lanka beat Saudi in Central Asian Volleyball opener

Sri Lanka beat Saudi Arabia 3-0 in the Central Asian Mens Challenge Cup Volleyball 2023 tournament at Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium yesterday.

The scores of the match were 25-19, 25-17 and 26-24.

Six Central Asian countries are participating in this tournament conducted by the Central Asian Volleyball Association and Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation.

This tournament will run until October 15.

Sri Lanka will face Nepal on October 10, Afghanistan on October 11 and  Bangladesh on October 14.

Afghanistan beat Uzbekistan by 3-2 (25-17, 26-24, 26-28,25-22 and 15-13) yesterday.
