Sri Lanka clinched the AVC Asian Central Zone Challenge Cup 2021 Men’s title when they defeated hosts Bangladesh 3-0 in the final played in Dhaka yesterday.

This was the second time that Sri Lanka won a Men’s international regional volleyball title after their success in 2013 where they beat the Maldives 3-0 in the South Asian Championships in Nepal.

Sri Lanka went on to beat Bangladesh 28-26, 25-20, 25-20 in the Men’s final after their Women’s Team had earlier defeated Kyrgyzstan 3-0 in the third-place playoff.
