Sri Lanka down Cook Islands 63-52

Sri Lanka recorded their first win of the Nations Cup Invitation Netball Tournament when they defeated the Cook Islands 63-52 in Singapore yesterday.  
Sri Lanka had earlier suffered two back-to-back defeats at the hands of Canada and Singapore ‘A’ in this six-nation tournament, which is conducted in a round-robin format.   
Sri Lanka took the first quarter 18-11 and the third quarter 17-10 while conceding the second quarter 13-15 and the fourth quarter 15-16 respectively.
