Sri Lanka juniors record back to back wins

Sri Lanka junior tennis players recorded back-to-back wins in the ITF Davis Cup Juniors tennis tournament played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo.
On the first day of the tournament hampered by rain, Sri Lanka’s juniors overcame Iraq by winning the two singles encounters won by Sandas Usgodaarachchi and Methvan Wijemanne while the doubles encounter was rescheduled due to rain. 


In their second match against Turkmenistan yesterday, the second day of the tournament, Sri Lanka’s juniors won both singles matches, again courtesy Usgodaarachchi and Wijemanne, to jump to a 2-0 lead before Usgodaarachchi partnered with Dhanushka Dias to complete a 3-0 win. 


The tournament will be continued today.
