Sri Lanka leaves for India to compete in SAFF U-20 men’s football tournament

The Sri Lanka Under-20 men’s football team left (July 21) for India.  They will be participating in the 4th SAFF U20 Men’s football tournament conducted by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) from July (25) to August (5) in Bhubaneswar.


South Asian countries Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Maldives will be taking part in this tournament.  Sri Lanka will face Bangladesh on July (25), Nepal on July (27), India on July (29) and Maldives on July (31).
 The tournament will be conducted on a round robin before the final on August (5). Theshan Thusmika is Captain of the Sri Lanka team while Mohamed Kalik is the Vice Captain.
