Sri Lanka team leaves for Davis Cup in Jordan

Sri Lanka Tennis outfit left for Amman in Jordan today early morning for the Asia/Oceania Group III to be staged in Jordan during September 15 to 20.

Former Davis Cup player Renouk Wijemanne is the coach plus non playing captain, and the outfit possess experienced players such as Yasitha de Silva who will be playing his 4th Davis Cup while Thehan Wijemanne, the son of former Davis Cup player, Sanjay Wijemanne will be booking his second Davis Cup appearance in Jordan. Vibuda Wijebandara and Chaturya Nilaweera will be making their debut in the 2021 Davis Cup event in the 2021 Davis Cup event in Amman.
