Sri Lanka to compete at Central Asia VB Tournament

The Sri Lanka Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Teams left for Bangladesh yesterday to participate in the Central Asia Challenge Volleyball Tournament in Dhaka from December 23 to 28.   A total of five teams will compete in the Men’s Tournament while six teams will compete in the Women’s Tournament, Secretary Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVB) A. S. Nalaka said yesterday.  


Uzbekistan, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will vie for honours in the Men’s Tournament while Kirghizstan, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan and Bangladesh will clash in the Women’s Tournament.  
The Sri Lanka Men’s Team will be led by Lasindu Methmal while the Women’s Team will be captained by 
Thilini Vasana.
