Sri Lanka to field five teams at Asian Beach VB Tournament

Sri Lanka will field five teams for the Asian Beach Volleyball Championships, which will be held from November 23 to 27 in Thailand.  

The Sri Lanka Beach Volleyball President C. Rathnamudali said that 15 countries from the Asian region are set to participate in this tournament.  

Sri Lanka will field three men’s and two women’s teams for this tournament. The team is currently training at the National Youth Services Beach Centre in Heiyanthuduwa and will leave for Thailand on November 20.   

Men’s:
1. Ashen Rashmika and Malintha Yapa  
2. Tyrone Indika and Sandun Madushanka
3. Udara Srinath and Sandun Bandara

Women’s:
1. Dinesha Prasadini and Nirmani Sulochana
2. Deepika Bandara and Hashini Malsha 
Coach: Pubudu Ekanayake
