Sri Lanka will host Australia and Pakistan in home Tests as part of its international assignments this year, with away Test series in India and Bangladesh also scheduled.

A home ODI series against Zimbabwe starting next week will be Sri Lanka’s first international outing for this year, before they play five T20Is in Australia soon after.

That series will provide invaluable experience, with Australia also hosting the 2022 T20 World Cup later this year.
Australia’s tour of Sri Lanka in June and July will be their first since 2016, when the hosts won all three Test matches. The tour will include three T20Is and five ODIs.

Pakistan, meanwhile, won their last Test series in Sri Lanka in 2015, completing a then record chase of 388 in the final match to take the series 2-1.

Sri Lanka will also host the Asia Cup in August and September, before the T20 World Cup the following month.
