Sri Lanka tour of Bangladesh Opening day of warm-up match reduced to nine overs

Rain reduced the opening day of Sri Lanka’s warm-up match against the Bangladesh Cricket Board XI to 8.3 overs, at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan No 3 Ground, Savar yesterday.

Batting first, Sri Lanka were 14 for 1, captain Dimuth Karunaratne the only wicket lost, caught behind for 2 off the bowling of Mukidul Islam.

Oshada Fernando was unbeaten on 7, while Kusal Mendis was 5 not out.
