Sri Lanka women’s stickers leave for 2023 Asian Games qualifiers in Jakarta

The Sri Lanka women’s hockey team will take wings to Jakarta, Indonesia tonight (June 2).  


This is for the Asian Games 2023 Women’s Hockey Qualifying tournament conducted by the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) to be held from June 6 to 14.  
The Sports Ministry has approved an 18-member team and four officials.  


Seven countries are expected to participate in this tournament. Sri Lanka will play Cambodia on June 6, Singapore on June 8, Hong Kong on June 9, Indonesia on June 11, Kazakhstan on June 12 and Uzbekistan on June 14, according to Sri Lanka Hockey Federation (SLHF) Secretary G Vishvanathan.
