Sri Lanka’s Lakshmi Victoria elected Asia Netball President for second time

Sri Lanka Netball Federation (SLNF) President Lakshmi Victoria  was elected Asia Netball President for a four-year term (2023-2027) yesterday.

She defeated Pakistan Netball President Mudassar Razak at the Asia Netball  Annual Genaral Meeting at hotel Lahan Jeonju in South Korea yesterday.

This is the second time Lakshmi Victoria  has been elected Asia Netball  President. She served as president from 2013 to 2015 and also as a Board member.

This is the third time a Sri Lankan has been elected Asia Netball President.  Former Sri Lanka Netball Federation President  Thamara Dharmakirthi Herath  was the first Sri Lankan to be elected Asia Netball President in  2001.
