The Sri Lanka contingent

Sri Lanka’s budding badminton talents yesterday departed for Nepal for the South Asia (U-17 and U-15) Regional Junior Championships 2023.
The championship, organised by Badminton Asia and hosted by the Nepal Badminton Association, will take place from August 18–22 at the National Sports Council in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.
The Sri Lanka team comprises Ranithma Liyanage, Nethmi Amaya Ratnayake, Sithuli Ranasinghe, Ranumi Suhasnie Manage, Senuth Sethmith Perera, Keneth Aruggoda, Thidasa Irushika Weragoda, and Hiruka Sahanmith. Hasitha Chanaka accompanies the team as coach, while Dhammika Withanage is the lady chaperone.
