Sri Sumangala, Rahula College battle for final berth

Sri Sumangala College Panadura and Rahula College Matara will battle it out for one of the two final berths of Under 19 inter-schools Division Two Tier ‘A’ two day day tournament when meet in the semi final scheduled to be played today and tomorrow at the Ace Capital CC ground in Kirimandala Mawatha.  
The tournament saw 18 teams divided into two groups of nine teams each in action which culminated with the top four teams from the two groups qualifying to the quarter finals.  
Sri Sumangala led by Vidusha Peiris ended up as the top team in the Group X segment and qualified to the quarter finals where they defeated Sri Dharmaloka MV Kelaniya to advance to the semi finals.  
Rahula College ended up as the second best team in the Group Y segment and qualified to the quarter final and came out victorious against Sri Devananda MV Ambalangoda to enter the semis.
