St. Joseph’s crush Mahinda by ten wickets

St. Joseph’s College recorded a crushing ten wicket win over the hapless Mahinda College Galle in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at the Mahinda grounds in Galle.  
Meanwhile Kusal Wijetunge and Dinsuha Peiris shone for Trinity in their drawn match against Maris Stella Negombo played at the Navy grounds in Welisara. 

Wijetunge slammed 165 in 182 balls inclusive of 16 boundaries and eight sixes while Peiris hit 105 in 107 balls with 13 boundaries and three sixes and the pair shared a 171 runs stand for the third wicket for Trinity to post a formidable score of 449 runs in reply to Maris Stella’s score of 268 runs.
