St. Sylvester’s Principal Bandara elected President of Schools Boxing

The Principal of St. Sylvester’s College, Kandy P.G.S. Bandara was elected the new President of the Schools Boxing Association of Sri Lanka (SBASL).   

All SBASL office-bearers were elected uncontested at the Annual General Meeting held at the auditorium of the Education Ministry.   

Jamitha Bandara of Pallebowala Maha Vidyalaya was elected Secretary and U.P. Sampath of Don Pedric MV, Horana was elected Treasurer.   

Following are the new office-bearers:

President: P.G.S. Bandara (Principal, St. Sylvester’s College, Kandy); Deputy President: Shirley Ranasinghe (Principal, Narandeniya MV); Vice Presidents: Priyashantha Maddumarala (Principal, Ananda Sastralaya, Kotte), T.G.P. Karunanayake (Principal, Kolonne Vidyalaya, Embilipitiya), A.I. Athukorala (Principal, Medankara Vidyalaya, Horana; Secretary: Jamitha Gayan Bandara (Pallebowala MV); Asst. Secretary: Ishani Apsara (Bandaranayake College, Gampaha); Treasurer: P.U. Sampath (Don Pedric College, Horana); Tournament Secretary: Lakshman Thilakarathna (Kingswood College, Kandy; Technical Officer: Rukman Wekadapola (Dharmaraja College, Kandy)
