TTSC open their season with Carom Championships tomorrow

The Travel Trade Sports Club will commence their multi-events sports calendar for 2023 with their 9th Mens and Womens Carom Championships, on March (25) at the Galadari Hotel, “Arena” Hall, commencing 8:30 a.m.   

The tournament which is revived after one year is once again partnered by Galadari Hotel coming in as the venue and F&B Sponsor.   
The tournament will be conducted in accordance to the internationally accepted Laws of Carom; the men’s tie, consisting three singles and two doubles and women’s tie, consisting one single and one double.  

In the previous tournament held on March 13, 2021 at the Galadari Hotel, Salon Anthurium, Sri Lankan Airlines won the men’s team event beating Turyaa Resort, Kalutara and Buddhini Dias from Colombus Tours won the individual singles and doubles tournament. Buddhini’s doubles partner was TAT Alwis from Galadari Hotel. (BM)
