Tamil Nadu spikers to open Sri Lanka tour on April 1

The Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVB) has made arrangements to hold the first match between the Sri Lanka National Junior Men’s Volleyball team and the visiting Tamil Nadu National Junior Volleyball Team on April 1 at Radawana Golden Bird Ground, Gampaha.  

The touring Tamil Nadu National Junior Volleyball team will arrive in the country on March 31 for a seven-day tour.  

The Tamil Nadu team is scheduled to participate in five exhibition volleyball matches in Gampaha, Kurunegala, Kalutara, Vavuniya and Jaffna.  This will be the first time after 41 years since 1982 that a national volleyball team from Tamil Nadu will visit Sri Lanka.
