Thivain appointed Royal Rugby Captain

Thivain Perera has been appointed as the captain of Royal College for the Dialog Inter-Schools Under-19 Rugby Tournament, which begins next month.
In addition, Yehan Weerasooriya and Buwaneka Senanayake were appointed as the two Vice-Captains while the experienced Dushantha Lewke will be the Head Coach.
Royal are placed in Group-2 along with the defending champions St. Peter’s, St. Joseph’s, Wesley, Kingswood, Zahira, Vidyartha and newcomers Thurstan. Royal will begin their campaign with a match against Kingswood. (MSA)
