Thiwanka and Dulakshi win NSG cycling titles

Thiwanka Sama Kumara of North Western Province (NWP) and M. P. A. R. Dulakshi of Southern Province (SP) clinched the Men’s and Women’s standard cycling events of the National Sports Games (NSG) held in Mahiyanganaya recently.   

The events were conducted by the Sports Development Department of the Ministry of Sports.   

Thiwanka completed the 144km course from Mahiyanganaya to Bibile and back with a time of 2:59.15s while Dulakshi finished the 72km course in 2:37.23s.
