Training for Asian TT Tourney begins today

The Sri Lanka Table Tennis Team will commence their residential training programme today at Torington indoor stadium, in preparation for the upcoming Asian Table Tennis Championships, which will be held from September 28 to October 5 in Doha, Qatar.

The Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka (TTASL) have already named a nine-member squad (5 men and 4 women) for this event in addition to three officials.

The tour will cost the TTASL approximately Rs. 4m and the Sri Lanka Squad is scheduled to leave for Qatar on September 25.
