Trinity bag Junior Novices Weightlifting Title

(Daily Mirror) - Trinity College, Kandy won the Junior Novices Boys’ Weightlifting Championship 2023, conducted by the Sri Lanka Weightlifting Federation and held in Polonnaruwa.

Sri Lanka Air Force SC and Kurunegala Weightlifting Club were joint runners-up.

The athletes representing the Air Force, Uduwela High School, Kandy YMCA and Romarasamkulam Club managed to win the Junior Novices Girls’ Championship in this tournament.

The Federation has also made arrangements to select athletes for the 2024 International Weightlifting Junior/Youth Competition from this tournament.
