Trinity continue winning run

Trinity College continued their winning form beating Dharmaraja College by 43 points (6 tries, 5 conversions, 1 penalty) to nil yesterday in an inter-school rugby encounter at the Pallekele Rugby Stadium. At the short breather Trinity led 14/0.


Trinity opened scoring early in the first half through a Lithmal Moragoda try. Thamuditha Dodanwatte added the extras. A few minutes later Trinity scored their second try through Minidu Jayasundera. Dodanwatte was on target again to take the lead 14-00. After the turn around  Trinity scored through a forwards rush when Bawantha Dharmapala touched down. Dodanwatte added the extras. 


Burly Kaveesha Amarasekera scored the next Trinity try with Ravindu Wickremasinghe adding the extras with another converted try following. Minidu Jayasundera put over a penalty to run away with an easy win.
