Trinity College will be all out to end their first round on a winning note when they meet bottom of the group, Kingswood College at the Pallekele Rugby Stadium today.

Kick-off is scheduled at 4 pm.

Trinity have gone through early season relatively well fielding a fresher laden side beating S. Thomas’, St. Anthony’s and Royal before being brought down by St. Joseph’s at Pallekele in their last outing.

The two games against Antonians and Royal could have gone either way but prevailed during the dying stages. Trinity will need to show better ball handling skills in order to get a bonus point win against the Randles Hill School who look a yard slower out of the top teams in fray.

Trinity possesses a speedy three-quarter line with accelerating pace and equally good defence. They will miss skipper Lithmal Moragoda, who is still nursing a recurring injury. His duties will be taken over by scrum-half Sheveen Premaratne.

Also, Jayageeth Basnayake, Loshika Wijekoon, Aattab Manzil, Zeshan Zakir, and Kovida Wickramasinghe are the standout players to keep an eye on. Kovida, playing as a full-back, will be expected to join the speedy three-quarter line on attack.

Meanwhile Kingswood have lost all their three games by big scores to Royal (0/53) and Antonians (7/57), while Joes too went one sided with (3/34). The Randles Hill outfit will heavily depend on skipper, Randila  Ranaweera, Mohamed Nifraz and Chalana Lakshan.
