Trinity pile on the runs against St. Servatius’

Trinity College Kandy piled up yet another mammoth total of 406 runs against St. Servatius’ College Matara in their Inter School Under 19 cricket encounter which ended in a first innings win for the home team at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy yesterday.

Taking first lease of the wicket Trinity continuing from their over-night score of 334 for 3 and made a declaration at 406 for 7.

Centuries were scored by in from, Pawan Pathiraja (134) and Umair Raizan (129). 

Infact this was Raizan’s second consecutive ton. 

The visitors were shot out for a low 123. Trinity skipper Abishek Anandakumara took six wickets.

Trinity (overnight 334 for 3) 406 for 7 in 85.3 overs (Pawan Pathiraja 134, Umair Raizan 129, Ranuda Somaratne 56, D Sankalpa 3 for 132) and 83 for 5 in 19 overs (Akram Muthalib 21, K. Wijerama 2 for 17)

St. Servatius’ 123 all out in 56.5 overs (W Supun 27, H Amarasinghe 21, Abishek Anandakumara 6 for 24, Umair Raizan 2 for 25)
