Under 15 Cricket Nipuna shines in De Mazenod’s massive win

An all-round performance by Nipuna Theekshana helped De Mazenod College Kandana to record a massive 265 run win over Harischandra NS Negombo in the Under 15 inter-school cricket encounter played at Kandana. Nipuna’s ton and a half ton by Teshan Rowel helped the Mazenodians make a mammoth score of 367 for 9 and Harischandra NS in their run chase were able to muster a score of only 102 runs.   


Half tons by Gimantha Dissanayake and Chamika Heenitigala paved the way for Mahanama College Colombo to coast to a convincing 270 run win against Ananda Sastralaya Kotte in a match played at Kotte.
