Royal College Colombo and Isipathana College Colombo will battle it out for the Under 15 Division One inter-school cricket title when they clash at Campbell Park today from 9.45 a.m. onwards.
In the run up to the final, the two teams concluded their first round on a high note by qualifying to the second round by virtue of being group champions.
Royal College, led by Thevindu Wewalwela, overcame St. Benedict’s College in the second round encounter and then got the better of Richmond in the pre-quarter final, Maris Stella Negombo in the quarter-final and Mahanama Colombo in the semi-final.
Isipathana meanwhile, led by Dasith Senal, overcame De Mazenod College Kandana in the second round match before recording wins against St. Anthony’s College Katugastota in the pre-quarter final, Christ King College Ja-ela in the quarter-final and St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya in the semi-final.
