 The Trinity College were overall champions at the Under 16 Central Zone Basketball Tournament which took place at Trinity College courts.

 The tournament was organised by The National Basketball Federation.  Savitha Gunawardane was awarded the “Best offensive player” at the tournament while Tinuka Jamburegoda was awarded the “Most Valuable player” at the tournament.  Head Coach of the Under 16 Basketball Team, was Susil Udukubura.
