Under 17 Cricket Joint defending champs Trinity take on POW

Joint defending champions Trinity Collage will take on Prince of Wales Collage in the semi - final encounter of the Under 17 Division One limited over tournament scheduled to be played from 9.30 a.m. at the FTZ ground in Katunayake today.  
Trinity led by Dimantha Mahavithana ended the first round assignments with an unbeaten record by registering wins against Bandaranayake MV Gampaha in the second round, Kingswood in the pre-quarter final and Rahula Matara in the quarter
final encounters.  
Prince of Wales led by Prince Fernando ended as the second best team in their group and went on to overcome Ananda Colombo in the second round, St. Benedict’s in the pre-quarter final and Maliyadeva Kurunegala in the quarter - final encounter.  
The tournament saw 76 teams divided into 14 groups in action.
