Kavija Gamage’s quick fire unbeaten knock of 117 in 90 balls including nine boundaries and an equal number of sixes guided Kingswood College to a convincing six-wicket win over Wesley College in the second round match of the Under 17 Division One limited over tournament match played at Lakeview.

Gamage along with Nikeshala Nanayakkara shared an unbroken stand of 92 runs for the fifth wicket which helped Kingswood in pursuit of 223 runs victory to reach the target in the 39th over to qualify to the pre-quarter finals.
Half tons by Savi Fernando and Emosh Peterson paved the way for St. Peter’s College to record an easy seven wicket win over traditional rivals St. Joseph’s College played at Darley Road to book a berth to the pre-quarter final.
Rahula College Matara, Maliyadeva Kurunegala and Taxila Central Horana too booked the berths to pre-quarter finals when they came out victorious against Gurukula MV Kelaniya, Mahanama College Colombo and Sri Devananda MV Ambalangoda.
