Under 17 Cricket Linal steers Wesley to easy win

An all-round performance by Linal Subasinghe, who made an unbeaten 76 and bagged six scalps, helped Wesley College coast to an easy 91-run win over Sri Jayawardenapura MV Kotte in the Under 17 inter-school cricket encounter played at Campbell Park.


Subasinghe’s knock helped Wesley, batting first, make a modest score of 183 runs and his six-wicket haul sent the opponents reeling to a low score of 92-run.   
In the other matches that were played Mahanama College Colombo, De La Salle Mutwal, St. Aloysius’ College Galle, Maris Stella College Negombo, St. John’s College Jaffna and Sri Rajasinghe Central Kudabuthgamuwa won their respective matches.
