Under 17 Cricket Tharusha, Iranda steer Isipathana to massive win

Half tons by Tharusha Ashen who was unfortunate to miss out on a ton and Iranda Dewmith laid the foundation for Isipathana College to record a massive 186-run win over De La Salle Mutwal in the Under 17 inter-school cricket encounter played at Muthuwella. The duo’s knocks helped Isipathana taking first lease of the wicket make a massive score of 349 for 8 and De La Salle in their run chase was restricted for a score of 163 runs. 

 
St. Aloysius Galle and St. John’s Jaffna recorded comfortable wins against Devapathiraja MMV Rathgama and Sandalanka MMV in two other matches of the same tournament played at Galle and Sandalankawa.
