Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa advanced to the final of the Under 17 Division One inter-schools limited over cricket tournament when they recorded a two-wicket win over defending joint champions in the semi-final encounter played at the FTZ ground in Katunayake yesterday.
Trinity College, invited to take first lease of the wicket made a modest score of 171 runs underwent some anxious moments as they lost their top four wickets with 89 runs on the board before useful knocks by Pasan Cooray and skipper Prince Fernando helped them to reach the target in the 48th over.
