Under 17 Division One Final De Mazenod bags maiden championship title

De Mazeond College Kandana bagged their maiden major cricket title when they emerged the Under 17 Division One inter-schools limited over tournament champions when they defeated Prince of Wales College in a low scoring final by 51 runs played at the Ace Capital CC ground in Narahenpita. 

 
The Mazenodians taking first lease of the wicket were bowled out for 124 runs but they struck back to defend the low score thanks to their four bowlers Savinu Chanthula, Dinindu Sasmitha, Kaveen Nethmina and Dinosh Jelon who together combined to bundle out the Cambrians for just 73 runs.
