Under 19 Crciket Rashmitha guides Devapathiraja MMV

An all-round performance by Shashin Rashmitha helped Devapathiraja MMV Rathgama to record a well deserved two wicket win over fancied Mahinda College Galle in the Under 19 inter-school cricket tournament match played at Galle. In this high scoring match Mahinda College took first lease of the wicket made a score of 257 runs and Devapathiraja in their run chase helped by Rashmitha’s unbeaten ton reached the target with nine balls to spare.   


Royal College Colombo pulled off a comfortable six wicket win over traditional rivals S. Thomas’ College in another match of the same tournament played at Reid Avenue while Isipathana College, St. Peter’s College and St. Joseph Vaz College came out on top in the other matches that were played.

At Galle – Devapathiraja MMV won by two wickets
