Under 19 Cricket Matheesha, Tharinda, Janeth shine as Richmond in strong position

Matheesha Vethmin along with Tharinda Nirmal and Janeth Kaushal shone with half tons for Richmond College  against Ananda College on day one of the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Campbell Park.
Richmond taking first lease of the wicket was helped by two valuable partnerships first of 98 runs for the second wicket between   Nirmal and Thamindu Pradeeptha who and the other of 145 runs for the seventh wicket between   Vethmin and Janeth to end the day with a formidable score of 355 for 7. The match will be continued today.
