St. Sebastian’s College Katunayake pulled off a thrilling one-run win over fancied Moratu MV in the Under 19 inter-school limited over cricket tournament played at Katunayake.
St. Sebastian’s took first lease of the wicket and helped by a half ton from Hasith Kavindu made a score of 154 runs with their bowling trio Tharuka Manaram, Maheesha Sithum and Vihanga Theekshana sharing seven wickets between them to bowl out Moratu MV for a score of 153 runs.
In the other matches that were played were Mahinda Galle, Dharmasoka MV Ambalangoda, S. Thomas’College, Sri Sumangala Panadura, Christ King College Ja-ela and St. Patrick’s College Jaffna won their matches.
